To support the University to deliver on its strategic priorities, we are looking for a Senior Workplace Relations Specialist - Change to join the Workplace Relations Team.
  
YOUR NEW ROLE
  
In this role you will report to the Director, Workplace Relations and oversee all workplace change programs and material in line with the current Enterprise Agreement. As part of a broader Human Resources team you will work collaboratively with HR Business Partners to deliver consistent and seamless HR Service to customers.
  
You will:
  • Provide advice to Business Leaders and HR Business Partners on planning and delivering consistent and compliant change initiatives.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to the business and HR Business Partners to conduct readiness assessments and evaluate results to inform change approach and plans.
  • Develop frameworks to identify and log potential people impacts, risks and issues and develop appropriate mitigation programs.
  • Lead, guide and support HR Business Partners to build change maturity, capacity and skills in the business.
  • Manage and build positive relations with key internal and external stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, Business Leaders, Program Managers and Union Representatives.
  • Collate, analyse and provide routine and ad hoc reporting and metrics on workplace relations matters.
  • Contribute to projects as required to increase and foster an effective workplace culture and build capability for change, conflict management and underperformance.
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications coupled with extensive experience delivering large scale change and transformative programs in a unionised environment. In addition you will have expertise in designing and delivering fit for purpose change management material, approaches and outcomes. Your resilience and determination along with your ability to work in and adapt to a changing environment will be critical to your success in the role. Previous experience in the Higher Education sector is desirable.

Part time working arrangements will be considered for this position.
