Trainer & Assessor (Mobile Maintenance) FIFO
During this exciting time at Fortescue, with innovation projects changing the way we work in mining, we are currently seeking two (2) qualified trainer and assessors with substantial mobile maintenance experience to join the team for 12 months.
Based at Christmas Creek, you will be required to support the current training team and its customers.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Delivery Mobile Equipment Training and Assessments
- Delivery of FMG Specific Training and Assessments including Verification of Competency Assessments
- Customer service provision to site customers
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision
- Well organised and excellent time management skills with strong attention to details skills
- Hands on approach to teamwork and superior customer service skills
Qualifications and skills required:
- Current Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE and LLN)
- Trade Certificate related to maintaining heavy mobile equipment
- Previous comparable equipment experience - mining and mobile equipment
- Current HRWL DG, LF, WP, RB
- Current Safe Working at Height, Enter and Work in Confined Spaces, Gas Test Atmospheres, Telescopic Handler, Overhead Gantry Crane National Units of Competency
- Sound knowledge and understanding of mobile equipment, technical systems and able to train this content in a professional manner
- Passionate, energetic and excited about the changes coming with innovation
- Autonomous Haulage System experience preferred but not essential
- Experienced Mobile Maintenance trainers or line trainers preferred
