We are currently seeking an HR Manager on a minimum 4 month contract. This is with a possible chance of extension.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the Director, People and Capability at internal and external forums.

• Undertake a range of both complex and strategic human resources activities relating to improving workplace culture and performance across TCCS.

• Provide performance coaching and support to executives and managers in respect to individual and team performance.

• Develop and implement contemporary workforce practices to building the capacity of staff and promote on-going learning in accordance with the Directorate’s strategic and operational objectives.

• Develop and manage strategic human resource policies, programs and processes related to enhancing the capability and performance of the organisation, including staff performance frameworks, and leadership strategies.

• Monitor and analyse workforce trends, provide reports and develop continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.

• Provide coaching, guidance and support to business managers to enhance understanding/capabilities to achieve effective human resource, organisation change and people management practices.

• Develop and promote equity and diversity programs and cultural change strategies to effect organisational improvements.

• Support and contribute to change management processes in support of new initiatives to engage stakeholders effectively towards positive outcomes and increase uptake of initiatives.

• Oversee the accurate and timely reporting of organisation development initiative metrics across the organisation.

Selection Criteria:

1. Demonstrated experience in leading innovative organisation development program design to support organisational performance and values.

2. A strong track record in designing and implementing fit for purpose adult learning programs to meet both strategic and operational objectives.

3. Excellent leadership, coaching and influencing skills.

4. Proven high level written and oral communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and other documents of a complex nature.

5. Demonstrated research, analytical and high-level project management skills to develop and implement strategic human resource initiatives.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources, organisational development, change management, psychology or extensive experience in these areas or related discipline is mandatory.
