The Talent Acquisition (TA) Team partner with key stakeholder groups to identify and engage the best talent for a broad range of opportunities across our service lines and coverage sectors. TA focus on building exceptional relationships with stakeholders and and delivering proactive solutions to attract a diverse talent pool or candidates.

Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the role of the Talent Acquisition (TA) Consultant is to drive best practice recruitment activities to deliver and identify the best talent for the firm.  This role has been created to support our national Engineering & Asset Management practice which has significant growth plans.  You will  contribute to the development of effective relationships with business stakeholders, HR partners, candidates and external suppliers and drive proactive talent sourcing strategies. 

- Responsible for building innovative sourcing strategies and identifying qualified experienced professionals from the local and international market.
- Effectively manage your portfolio to secure the best talent for KPMG including: market mapping,  advertising, brand engagement, interviewing and assessment for potential candidates.
- Maximise strategic sourcing methodologies, internal and external networks, social media, talent pipelines and our extensive database to deliver high quality candidates.
- Advising and supporting partners, managers and staff on their role in the recruitment process and consultation regarding annual hire plans, targets and progress.
- Manage candidates promptly and professionally throughout the process by following our national recruitment strategy & policies.
- Coaching hiring managers on the use of TA technologies, video interviews and assessment tools.
- Demonstrate your ability to network effectively and manage relationships with external partners and candidates to maximise KPMG’s employer value proposition.
 
There are two roles available which will be offered initially as 12 month fixed term contracts including standard fixed term employee benefits.  
 
How are you Extraordinary?

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include: 

- Human Resources (or other business related) tertiary qualification.
- High volume recruitment or talent research experience, preferably gained while working in executive search, agency, professional services or corporate recruiting function.
- Experience recruiting in the Engineering, Asset Management, Procurement or Infrastructure sector preferred.
- A passionate people person with exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage and influence others with strong client service orientation.
- Experience working in dynamic, complex corporate environment - Professional Services experience ideal.
- Resourceful, systematic and the ability to work under pressure with competing priorities with a variety of technologies and sourcing strategies concurrently
- A willingness to learn, develop and be a key contributor in a supportive team environment.
- Demonstrates effective teamwork and collaboration.
- High level of ability to use TA technologies (eg. PageUp) and other related talent sourcing solutions.
