Our NSW State Government client is responsible for responding to applications received by Community Services that have been made under section 168 of the Children and Young Person (Care and Protection) Act 1998.We are currently looking for an experienced and empathetic Project Officer to join the amazing team in Ashfield, for an estimated 10-week temporary contract.
In this exciting role you will be responsible for however not limited to the following -
- Mapping responsibilities and key activities to position descriptions
- Documentation of approval and reporting processes for three teams
- Produce standardised process maps for management of information requests
- Manage a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordination of resources, maintaining project documents and implementing and monitoring project plans
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes
- Regular communication with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs to support informed decision-making planning
- Knowledge of GSE/HR processes and requirements
- Intermediate level business process mapping experience
- Developing and producing team performance reports
- Previous experience within the Government Sector and system knowledge desirable
- Excellent coordination and time management skills
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal
- WWCC is required for this role – current or willing to apply
- Willingness to undergo all pre-employment checks including reference and National Police Check
