We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and is passionate about return to work and making a difference to join our People & Culture team as a Safety Administrator / Return to Work Co-ordinator.
 
Located at Banyo, Queensland.  
 
You will be responsible for Safety Administration and Return to Work Coordination across multiple sites.
 
Your primary responsibilities will be to:
  • Provide confidential, efficient and timely support to the National Senior Safety Advisor
  • Ensure coordination of safety meetings including take minutes, distribution of minutes and updating registers
  • Perform general administrative duties including copying, filing, minute taking and records maintenance
  • Assist Brisbane Lite n' Easy to identify and report potential hazards in the workplace to the Supervisor
  • Register and report any accidents and incidents as soon as possible to ensure investigation occurs in a timely manner and appropriate controls are determined
  • Coordinate and develop suitable duties plans
  • Liaise with WorkCover/Insurers in in relation to injured team members
  • Assist with and at times prepare monthly statistical reports in excel
  • Undertake data input activities and administer both safety and return to work spreadsheets to ensure they are accurate and up to date
The successful candidate will have:
  • Must have a passion for safety and return to work and have experience in a similar role
  • Strong administration skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ensure work is completed in a professional, accurate and timely manner
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder engagement, to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, to successfully identify problems, develop solutions and implement these using a logical approach
  • Exceptional organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks to achieve tight deadlines
  • High levels of self-motivation, drive and initiative combined with the ability to adapt to changes in circumstances
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
