The opportunity

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic People Consultant / HR Advisor to work as part of a centralised People Consultant group within our Employee Experience team on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. You’ll provide a high level of proactive people related consultancy services to managers, team leaders and team members across Australia and New Zealand and deliver on key employee experience related projects.

The role

Working within a centralised People Consultant group will bring variety of work and great exposure across the business as you’ll act as an advisor to all of MYOB client groups. You’ll provide contemporary and innovative people-related solutions and practices exhibiting strong business acumen and provide coaching and advice to the managers, team leaders and team members spanning the full spectrum of HR.

You’ll proactively consult with client groups to identify and proactively manage any talent or people related concerns or issues as well as manage and promote Employee Experience related policies and programmes within MYOB.

What you will bring

• Strong working knowledge of current employment legislation
• Excellent understanding of organisational development principles, L&D and recruitment
• Exposure to managing, analysing and responding to employee engagement surveys
• Prior experience within a fast-paced, dynamic environment preferred
• Proven experience working in a people advisory capacity
• Demonstrable success providing consulting advice within a HR shared service function preferred
• Experience implementing and delivering on key HR projects and programmes
• Experience in dealing with all aspects of employee relations including implementing disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Experience with HR and Talent Management software, reporting and analytics
