Wingara Ag Limited is a fast growing ASX listed company with the head office based in Melbourne. Leaders in the export of fodder with two processing facilities based near Bendigo and with a sizeable meat cold storage facility in Laverton North, we are looking for a Generalist HR Manager to play a key part in developing and improving the existing HR structure and processes across all sites. This person will be seen as a trusted advisor providing strategic and operational business solutions.
The Role:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer this role will form part of the leadership team for the business and be a hands-on operational stand-alone HR role.
- Understanding of Fair Work and National Employment Standards, including knowledge of Awards and Agreements;
- Maintain a productive IR environment with union and staff;
- Knowledge of OHS Law and demonstrated experience in OHS compliance and WorkCover case management;
- Providing advice and assistance to staff and management regarding HR policies and procedures;
- Performance management including disciplinary action, investigations, probation review and complaints resolution;
- Managing the end-to-end process of the employee life cycle including; acquisition, talent pooling, induction, training, performance, promotion and off-boarding;
- Leading Employee training & development planning;
- HR lead for all organisation design and change management projects; and
- Ability and willingness to manage & work across multiple sites.
Profile
- Will be degree qualified in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related studies;
- Will have at least 2 years experience in a similar role;
- Proven knowledge of Human Resource legislative and statutory requirements and principles;
- Demonstrated experience and ability to work with blue collar work force in a manufacturing environment; and
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and liaise with a number of internal and external stakeholders.
