About the business

Catering Industries Pty Ltd is a leading provider of contracted hospitality services (catering, cleaning and laundry) to Australia's health and aged care, education, government, corporate and resources sector.  We currently employ over 1,000 personnel engaged in various operations in our active markets.

About the role

We are seeking a competent, enthusiastic, organised and experienced Human Resources executive to join our team in a senior role and actively work along side senior management and company directors in the management of a varying range of personnel related issues.

The successful applicant will report directly to our Managing Director.

Skills and experience

Who we are looking for:

  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources – preferably within the Hospitality sector.
  • Experience in dealing with IR and workplace relations matters.
  • Extensive knowledge and interpretation of various Industry Awards and EBAs.
  • Involvement in the recruitment, selection and on-boarding of new employees.
  • Training, Professional Development and Appraisals.
  • Experience in tending to legal matters, administrators, ombudsmans, IR tribunals etc.
  • Management and resolution of employee relations issues.
