About the role
The Lead, Learning Projects role provides exemplary project management and specialist organisational/learning development oversight. They engage team members and stakeholders in delivery of accurate, reliable and targeted learning outcomes that support customer needs. The role is accountable for leading the learning projects team for induction and other learning projects, while driving day to day operational activities. The role develops and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practice is implemented and maintained through project/service delivery and continuous improvement.
 
To be successful in this role you will have a learning and development background and with expertise and experience in complex project management within L&D or human resources. You will be adaptable and flexible in your approach to managing work. Able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of results. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
 

  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies. (Please find Aboriginal Education Review – Information)
  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in Learning and Development, Project Management, Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology or a relevant discipline
  • Project Management expertise and experience, with a focus on learning and development or human resource projects
  • Experience in capturing, reviewing and analysing data/information for implementation into learning and development or human resources programs
