A rare position vacant in Coffs Harbour with our locally based client for an exceptional HR People & Culture leader.
Duties may include:
Must be professional, authoritative and able to provide timely strategic advice to the General Manager, and other senior management on issues of a complex and sensitive nature pertaining to;
- industrial relations
- safety health and wellbeing
- talent acquisition
- workforce reporting
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with relevant unions and Govt bodies.
- Ensure that significant strategic HR/IR/workforce development objectives and results are reported on a regular basis
- Provide leadership in the development and implementation of a workforce strategy with universities/TAFE to meet the strategic organisations targeting becoming an employer of choice within 36 months
- Promote a positive public image for the organisation ensuring effective partnerships are developed with client groups and senior executives
- Formulate and contribute to policy and workflow efficiency design
- Provide leadership and direction to team leaders by promoting and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
- Ensure effective management of Human Resource functions and accurate record maintenance
- Promote an accountable, fair and safe work environment through the implementation of management practices, policies and procedures, including achievement planning and equal employment/anti-discrimination
- Lead staff and community engagement events
Essentials:
• Tertiary qualifications in HR or relevant, equivalent & proven experience
• Ability to work with a diverse range of people
• Strong organisational skills
• Leadership experience (advantageous)
