Metso are looking to employ a confident, experienced & versatile HR Advisor for a minimum of six months, in a full-time capacity.

Reporting to the HR Manager - West, this is a fast-paced and varied generalist role. The successful candidate will have responsibility across the full scope of the HR lifecycle, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, C&B and HR policies, as well as a piece on integration for a recently acquired organisation.

Main Accountabilities:

• Providing timely advice to Senior Managers and staff, in relation to all HR matters including employment legislation and awards, employee relations, HR planning, retention and performance management.
• Ensuring that Metso meets all legislative HR obligations, within scope of control.
• Actively working to improve the provision of HR support to internal stakeholders.
• Providing end to end recruitment services, as required.
• Preparing letters, spreadsheets, reports, and other correspondence, as required.

Essential:

• Formal qualifications in Human Resources.
• Significant experience in a generalist, operational HR role.
• Sound Employee Relations exposure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to employees at all levels.
• Reslient and adaptable nature.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or mining environment.
• Previous experience working with SAP, Successfactors and/or Chris21.
• Experience in a multi-cultural global environment.
