Revolution IT is Asia Pacific's leading IT consulting and Application Lifecycle Management solutions provider. We deliver quality throughout the entire application life cycle by specialising in services such as IT governance, program and project management, requirements management, testing and training.

Due to significant growth plans and an increase in client demand for our services, an exciting new opportunity has arisen in our Brisbane office for an Internal Recruitment Coordinator to join our national resourcing team. Working alongside and under the mentorship of our State Resourcing and Engagement Manager, you will be supporting our business in the end-to-end recruitment of quality IT talent across Brisbane with a focus on recruiting highly qualified and professional Software Testers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers etc.

You will be the first point of contact and experience with our brand, so we are looking for a passionate, highly motivated, professional and hardworking individual. You'll be stepping into a fast paced environment, be challenged daily and will have the opportunity to make a real difference to our culture by recruiting high-quality consultants into Revolution IT.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting initial client briefs on role requirements and further clarifying resourcing needs
  • Proactively sourcing suitable candidates by attending networking events, regularly meeting with new candidates, using advanced searching candidate methods (ie. X-ray, Boolean), advertising, and follow up on referrals from colleagues
  • Initial screening of candidates for suitability using our customisable recruitment and selection matrix
  • Assisting with interviewing with suitable candidates, conducting reference checks and preparation of consultant profiles  
  • Setting up and assessing technical tests
  • Assisting with staff inductions (contractors and permanent staff)
  • Database management (candidate management system) and upkeep
  • Assisting with the design and creation of learning and development plans for staff members
  • HR administration, including updating electronic consultant files, setting up new user timesheets and project codes, etc
  • Providing assistance, guidance and advice to staff members on Revolution IT policies, procedure, and practices
  • Adherence to Revolution IT's Code of Conduct, associated policies and company values
  • Maintaining positive relationships with Revolution IT clients and fellow staff members

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Approx. 2 years of experience in IT recruiting either for an agency or in-house.
  • Undergraduate qualification in a related field (HR, Business, Behavioural Studies) - (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Experience in software development or testing recruitment would be highly advantageous.
  • Experienced in using recruitment systems and social media platforms such as LinkedIn to efficiently manage talent pools and attract the best and most suitable candidates.

Revolution IT will consider candidates who come from an IT Project Coordinator or similar role with an interest in recruitment.
