This role will work across both businesses covering all aspects of Administration.

We are currently looking for a HR Student to join our awesome team. If you are a fourth year Human Resources University student looking to take that first step of the HR ladder, then we could have your dream job!

At HR Gurus, we pride ourselves on providing HR solutions that fit. We don't use 'HR speak' or fancy diagrams and models either. About You

You are one of those amazing practical people who 'gets it'… You are results focused and love dealing with challenges in a way that's no fuss. You have high level attention to detail knowing when to dot your i’s and cross your t’s, can follow a process and understand the importance of customer service.

To be a successful 'HR Guru', you must have a sense of humour, know how to provide exceptional service to our clients, and most importantly you must love HR!

About the role

This is a casual role based in our cool and funky office in Preston. We are located at HappyHubbub http://www.happyhubbub.com.au/ which is a co-working space located in Preston. (We have our own studio onsite). This is a great entry level role where you will have to get your hands dirty, as you will be providing support to the greater HR Gurus team.   Our roles are not for the faint hearted - you will be challenged and pushed on a daily basis!

This is a true HR Administration role and your responsibilities will include:

• Co ordinating and completing phone screens
• Reference checking
• Preparing confidential documents
• Maintaining databases and spreadsheets
• Provide administration support to the wider HR Gurus team
• General admin activities

Your Experience                                                                                                                                     

The successful candidate will have:  

• Fourth year Human Resources student or equivalent -  this is NOT a graduate position.
• Previous work experience
• Ability to learn on the fly
• Loves a challenge and high-pressure environment
• High level attention to detail and excellent work ethic
• Outstanding communication skills, a flexible approach and must be solutions/outcomes orientated.
• Must have a driver’s license and own car.
• Willing to undergo a Police check.
