As an expanding business, a new opportunity has presented for a talented People & Culture Advisor to join our team. Reporting directly to the National Manager, People & Culture, your role will involve partnering closely with our managers to provide human resource advice, support & solutions; whilst fostering a best practice environment. You will need a broad knowledge base and a flexible attitude as you respond to variety of queries from supporting and coaching managers in relation to staffing issues and disciplinary procedures, to interpreting awards and other generalist activities. The incumbent will also be responsible for people reporting, delivering and contributing to HR projects, and management of industrial relations and employee relations concerns.

To be successful you will need to be able to show:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Human Resources related area
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a generalist human resources role
  • Previous experience in health, aged care, community or hospitality sector preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in the interpretation & application of awards & enterprise agreements
  • Ability to report on key people metrics - intermediate/advanced excel skills
  • A solid understanding of employment law, including legislation, industrial instruments and common law requirements
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Drivers licence and own vehicle (as travel to homes will be required)
  • A commitment to providing a high standard of customer service and operating within the values of Respect, Integrity, Accountability, Passion, Teamwork, and Innovation
  • Experience coordinating HR related projects through to implementation and working with multiple stakeholders
  • Able to travel regionally or interstate occasionally
