Job Description:
As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for designing compensation and benefits packages, implementing performance review procedures (e.g. quarterly/annual and 360 degree evaluations), and developing fair HR policies and ensuring employees understand and comply with them.

To be successful in this role, you should have a background in Human Resources and must have a good knowledge of Australia’s labour legislation.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Implementing effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
  • Assessing training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees
  • Acting as the point of contact regarding labour legislation issues
  • Facilitating Senior Human Capital Manager in routine HR operations
  • Generating HR reports in MS Excel / Management System
  • Creating and running referral bonus programs
  • Measuring employee retention and turnover rates
  • Overseeing daily operations of the HR department, preparation of lessons and learning resources
  • Managing all HR related documentation



Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Advanced Diploma in Human resources or any equivalent qualification
  • Proven work experience of 3 - 5 years in Human Resources or similar role
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems and MS Office suite
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting
  • Good knowledge of labor legislation (particularly employment contracts, employee leaves and insurance)
  • Demonstrable leadership abilities
  • Knowledgeable in HR related reports using management system / MS Excel
  • Solid communication skills
  • Flexible for travelling interstate
