Our Talent Team
Talent plays a crucial role at MinterEllison as a full service human resources partner for the legal and non-legal entities of the firm. In this generalist role you will deliver a full range of human resource advisory, consultative and operational services with a particular emphasis on performance, remuneration and benefits, engagement and retention strategies
Purpose of the role
Your role as a Talent Business Partner will be to deliver innovative, effective and commercial human resources solutions to our legal practice groups within the Sydney office.
More about you
We welcome applications from people with significant experience as a HR business partner within a complex organisation. We are looking for both full-time and part-time candidates. You will also:
- be a strong relationship builder, influencer and coach and have solid commercial acumen
- have experience working in a professional services experience
- have the flexibility to respond to changing priorities with a 'can do' attitude and a hands-on approach within an ever changing business environment
- have a demonstrated ability to sensitively, confidentially and fairly manage people issues and have solid knowledge of the legal parameters of the employment relationship
- possess a tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline as a strong knowledge of current legislation is essential.
Your responsibilities
Some key aspects of your role which will develop over time include:
- collaborate and coach with the Practice Group Head, Staff Partner and Practice Group Partners and other key stakeholders to create human resources solutions for their teams
- develop a strong profile, network and relationships across each Line of Business and the broader firm to become a trusted business advisor
- elevate awareness, support and engagement of key strategic Talent initiatives, programs and projects
