About the role
In this highly administrative role the Marketing Relationship Manager is responsible for managing all relationships and contracts between Defence Force Recruiting (DFR)’s Attraction team and internal and external stakeholders.

This includes managing the obligations and reporting for the DFR Attraction team (comprising Media, Research, Strategic Intelligence, Marketing, Digital and Social Media), and being the key point of contact for DFR’s Creative and Digital Services supplier and merchandise supplier. You’ll be responsible for DFR Attraction team’s governance, procurement and financial processes and providing support to develop strategies and plans.

Roles and responsibilities
• Support the delivery of all contracts with external partners including creative advertising agency; creative digital agency; media agency and market research agencies.
• Support the establishment and coordination of the DFR Attraction and Recruitment Plans.
• Develop and maintain relationships with major stakeholders, government agencies and suppliers.
• Liaise with the Attraction team members and service providers in the preparation of budgets, reports and forecasts and ensure they are presented in a timely manner to the Commonwealth or General Manager of Attraction as requested or required under the Recruiting Service Contract obligations.
• Management of the Government Office Supplies vendor including stock on hand reports, ordering and delivery of assets and coordination with DFR Operations for brochures and merchandise usage.
• Lead Attraction’s internal communication, including preparation and dissemination of newsletters, toolkits and management of the Attraction SharePoint website working in collaboration with other team members.
• Attendance at DFR governance meetings including the Attraction, Operations and Business Support Working Groups.

Skills and experience
Essential
• 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative capacity or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to undertake a range of activities and administration projects with multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated business acumen, analytical as well as strategic in approach.
• Strong organisational skills and interpersonal skills.
• Effective problem solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Must be an Australian citizen
• Must be able to pass a security clearance 

Desired
• Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business.
• Experience in marketing, communications or digital.
