What you will be delivering

Working in the Commercial Energy Services division of AusNet Services, you will support the growth and delivery of exciting and new major energy projects across Australia. Working within a growth area of the energy sector you will report to the General Manager of People & Safety, and will partner with leaders to drive people focussed initiatives and support, to enable execution of our business strategy.  The groups you will partner with are ready to drive culture and move into the future with you, as their HR Business Partner, will join them on their journey.

Duties:

  • Partner with leaders to provide tactical and strategic HR advice and recommendations.   Coach and influence leaders to drive people outcomes that support delivery of the business plan.
  • Partner with leaders to implement people strategies (long and short-term) that enable delivery of the business plan and their respective business objectives.
  • Lead change management activities for large scale people related changes, including development of change management strategies and plans, impact analysis, communication and engagement plans,
  • Lead the delivery of the HR business plan and agenda within your corporate and strategic client groups.
  • Interpretation and advice associated with employment contract and enterprise agreement terms and conditions. Interact and advise as a point of escalation on ER/IR case management.
  • Play a lead role within the division across organisational development and capability initiatives, including workforce planning, organisational culture and values, talent management, performance and capability, change management, diversity, leadership development, performance and productivity.
  • Partner with leaders to drive diversity outcomes within their group, and to manage and maximise development and utilisation of talent.
  • business readiness assessments, training, reporting and capability considerations.
  • Lead and develop communication and engagement plans to facilitate an open and transparent culture and coach manages in effective communication skills.
  • Work with and across the HR community to ensure a consistent and high quality approach to the delivery of all HR initiatives.

  • Solid experience in an operational/ delivery environment is highly regarded
  • Generalist HR experience, including experience in leading and delivering HR plans across a team of HR professionals
  • Demonstrated experience in a HR partnering model and leading the delivery of HR services
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience developing short and long term people plans (tactical and strategic)
  • Experience and skills working through complex people matters and challenges, and providing advice and coaching to managers (including employee relations / industrial relations matters)
