Reporting into the General Manager of HR, you will lead a team and have full responsibility for the safety of the national workforce and all interstate branches. Along with your team, you will deliver a safety first culture that is the envy of all businesses.
- Develop and deliver a strong safety vision for the business
- Working with State & National line managers across all business units, you will provide well considered advice and support on various risks and compliance matters
- Create National strategies to improve the workplace health and safety culture
- Drive cultural change by engaging with the workforce to reinforce expectations and influence leaders
- Provide direction, advice and assistance to implement and achieve rehabilitation, worker’s compensation and risk management objectives.
- Align all safety and culture strategies and processes with the overall business strategy
- Advise management of responsibilities under relevant legislation in a timely manner
- Communicate all safety initiatives, suggestions, changes to legislation to the business and manage feedback
- Develop, implement and manage the safety system to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and standards including AS 4801 and AS 1885
- Coordinate and oversee successful safety training initiatives and activities and make recommendations for improvement to management
We are looking for an outstanding Safety Culture Manager, who will lead and provide the business with advice, strategy development and new initiatives. Your ability to influence and build strong relationships will be the key to your success.
A strategic and results orientated professional, you will be highly educated in WHS and ideally have a background inn manufacturing or logistics.
