This successful and evolving Australian infrastructure organisation has just moved into an exciting new stage of strategic growth as a result of a number of recent acquisitions. With a head office of 30 and a further 450+ staff across Australia, this national firm is recognised for their highly reputable history, genuine care for their stakeholders and staff and have become known as the industry leader within a niche sector.

Due to an internal opportunity within the organisation, they seek to appoint a highly skilled, passionate HR leader to manage effective HR frameworks and initiatives, whist providing professional input into the Senior Leadership Team.


About the Role

Working closely with the General Manager, this role will provide strategic and tactical direction across all facets of HR. As the company continues to grow, your experience in change management and succession planning will be valuable. You will have a pivotal role in the ongoing development of the leadership team and ensuring existing processes and procedures remain ‘best practice’ standard.

As a key part of the leadership team, the successful individual will be a trusted advisor to the other executives and bring a voice to the HR agenda. As a strategic leader of People and Capability the role will include responsibility for L&D, OD, Projects, HR Business Partnering, IR/ ER, OH&S, WorkCover & Injury Management, and Innovation.


About You

Tertiary qualified and an experienced HR leader, the successful individual will have a strong operations and strategic focus, excellent problem solving and influencing skills as well as having the ability to look ahead to the future and drive a collaborative and changing work environment.

You will have a down-to-earth approach and an innate ability to empower, educate and communicate effectively at all levels. You are a self-starter, adopt a proactive approach to problem solving and enjoy working in a hands-on capacity.

Your desire to grow and develop professionally, ability and willingness to adapt to change, teamed with your open and honest persona will see you thrive.
