This role will provides expert quality advice, initiatives and operational support to assigned client business managers and employees on a range of general and specialist human resource services to meet business objectives and deliver the Department’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas.
  • Collects and analyses HR data, and then makes recommendations to management.
  • Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures.
  • Prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
  • Provide responsive, client-focused, expert HR services and technical advice to employees and managers in a broad range of human resource areas, to support the implementation and alignment of business and people strategies, directions, policies, programs and practices at the business unit level.
  • Coach and guide employees, supervisors and managers in effective people management responsibilities and practices, and appropriate human resource options, methods and solutions, to create an engaged and high performing work environment and culture.
  • Provide information to managers and employees regarding human resource services, and assist to interpret, apply and understand implications of human resource legislation, policy and procedures to inform proactive and responsive decision making relevant to ongoing business outcomes.
  • Monitor effectiveness of human resource service delivery to identify opportunities to develop, update, streamline and integrate policies, systems, processes and standard operating procedures, and to recommend value added innovative and best practice services and solutions.
  • Develop project plans, communication strategies, systems, tools and review processes to identify and address issues and to embed successful program and strategy delivery and implementation.

Role Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management and 3-6 years of experience is ideal.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within human resource management.
