Enthusiastic and hardworking HR Junior required for a leading council in central Sydney, 3-month contract.
Your new company
This council are close to the Sydney CBD and are in need of a HR Coordinator to join on a 2/3-month rolling contract.This HR Coordinator will be supporting the wider HR team and will perform a variety of functions across recruitment, administration and employee development. The offices are very accessible on public transport and the role offers flexible working hours.
Your new role
Your new role as a Human Resource Coordinator will be to provide administrative support for all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Your duties will include:
- Maintaining the HR Database, payroll entry, excel reporting, new employee on boarding, documentation of exit interviews
- Recruitment administration, processing of new employee induction packs
- Scheduling of employee training and development (internal and external), diary management
- Supporting HR initiatives across the council, i.e. health and well-being events
What you'll need to succeed
You will possess a tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management. You will have experience of working in a similar HR Administration or Coordination role. A positive attitude and strong work ethic is key and you must have excellent communication skills. You must have top notch attention to detail skills and enjoy taking ownership of your own tasks and workload. You will have a passion for HR and ultimately, be a great team member.
