An exciting position has become available and we are looking for a passionate professional to provide a high level of HR support across 28 properties within Victoria and Tasmania. With over 1000 Team Members, you will work in collaboration with, and provide support to the Regional HR Manager in overseeing the successful operation of the Human Resources function for the Region. This is a true HR business partner role providing high level HR support, advice and strategy to the wider property teams as well as the implementation of new initiatives to improve and move our business forward.
Other aspects of the position include:
- Co-ordination of Occupational Health and Safety requirements and workers compensation/injury management;
- Driving and promoting reward and recognition across all properties;
- Providing guidance to managers on employment relations conditions and legislative requirements;
- Leading and supporting talent identification & development discussions in conjunction with Management teams to identify & foster high potential talent;
- Facilitation of training sessions & co-ordination of Regional training calendar;
- Providing HR support to management and Team Members.
You will ideally posses the following skills and experience that will be pivotal to your success in this role:
- Experience in a generalist HR function, preferably within the hospitality industry;
- Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail;
- The ability to work unsupervised & under pressure;
- A hands on approach & can-do attitude;
- A positive attitude and ability to build rapport with team members at all levels of the organisation.
