Your new company
Will be a large government organisation based in Brisbane CBD.
Your new role
As the Workforce Planner, you will:
- Conduct environmental scans and labour market research; undertake demand and supply analysis; analyse workforce gaps and risks and identify strategies
- Develop workforce planning tools, templates and guides
- Work closely with HR Account Managers and stakeholders for the development of strategic workforce plans
- Manage job analysis and design functions to support workforce planning activities and review organisational structures to improve business outcomes
- Lead and support operations including monitoring business performance, setting priorities, and managing resources and workflows
- Provide leadership to a team including performance management, coaching, mentoring, monitoring work processes and capability development
- Research, analyse and apply problem solving skills to develop innovative solutions to meet clients requirements
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and networks including representing business area at meetings and other workplace events
- Make significant contribution to innovation, changes in workplace practices and business improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have the ability to:

- apply strong written communication skills to plan, prepare and develop documentation consistent with commonwealth and departmental writing and style guides

- plan strategically and prioritise workload for self and teams to accomplish business outcomes
- effectively lead, coach and mentor a team while managing competing priorities and changes in strategic direction
