If you are great at building relationships and keeping in close communication with a range of internal and external clients, then this could be the job for you. Offers a unique HR-related role straddling the fashion industries in Japan and Australia.
  
  
Our client is a human resources firm specialising in the fashion industry and is expanding its business from Japan into Australia. The firm’s chief business is finding English-speaking talent in the fashion industry in Japan.
  
This role will start around September, but the right candidate may do training in in August.

ROLE
  • Finding talent in Japan for work in Australia: Building client relationships with fashion brands and retailers in Australia
  • Finding and supporting talent in Australia for work in Japan: Employment opportunity briefings for talent returning to Japan; promoting and building partnerships to maximise attendance at those briefings, building partnerships with language schools, overseas study agencies, etc.
  • Sales agency: Managing and operating sales agency in Australia
  • General duties: Building project schemes in Australia and managing their budgets, accompanying senior staff.
  
EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE | COMPETENCIES
  • Must be bilingual Japanese and English with native level Japanese communication skills. English to business level.
  • Tertiary undergraduate degree or higher
  • Experience in the fashion business is most advantageous, experience in HR is desirable, and experience in both is even better.
  • PC skills (MS Office suite)
  • Excellent communication skills are required to keep in close communication with staff and external clients.
  • Reliable attention to detailed tasks
  • Service-oriented approach
  • Ability to take initiative and communicate action plans clearly
  
CONDITIONS
  • Ÿ Must have citizenship, permanent residence, or partner visa, etc. at least visa for the 6 months to February 2019.
  • Ÿ 9-5 Mon-Fri
