HR & Internal Recruitment Officer

The Role

This unique role is responsible for providing a full spectrum of HR administration, internal recruitment, stakeholder relationship maintenance, and employee relations. The role is responsible for the General HR day to day duties and timely client liaison. The role provides a high touch service across all our clients.

We are a Global Payroll and HR services company, born and delivered in Australia, we provide a boutique services for over 2000 clients across Australia and abroad and do this with outstanding five star service. With a head office based in Taren Point and offices in Perth, Auckland, Singapore and Shanghai, there is scope for travel and development in those regions where applicable.

Key Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Maintaining databases and spreadsheets - Data entry into in-house Human Resources System
  • Preparation of confidential documentation throughout employee and contractor life cycle
  • Implement new processes and enhance current process to strengthen efficiency
  • Providing general administrative support such as entering and maintaining employee personnel records
  • Supporting end-to-end recruitment services
  • Employment management phase data entry   
  • Employee offboarding and after care liaison/advice
  • Drafting of employee contracts and letters of offer, interpreting relevant Fair Work Awards
  • First point of contact for employee enquiries relating to HR issues
  • Booking professional develop and internal training/pre- employment checks as needed, engaging with external vendors
  • Immigration advice and initiation and maintenance
  • Employee Benefits Liaison with clients, providers and employees
  • Provide feedback to Head of Employment Services of any 'risks'/changes or items of note
  • Employee Service Portal Introduction to Expense programs and basic training for employees

In order to be considered for this role you will be:

  • Hold a qualification in a relatable field above a Diploma – Relevant experience accepted*
  • Advanced level applied technical skills – Ability to adapt to technology
  • Previous exposure to an outsourced Payroll or HR Service provider is desirable
  • We require a mature minded, decisive individual who has a commitment to best practice and a proactive approach to enable continuous improvement.
  • Have a natural talent for picking up systems and processes
  • Take ownership of your work and genuinely care about doing a great job
  • Have the ability to build strong relationships with a variety of people in various roles and levels of management
  • Be able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment
