What you'll be doing

The HR Generalist will ensure the smooth running of Rockend's people function by providing generalist HR support across the business and across the employment lifecycle. You will be a key contributor to making Rockend a great place to work by ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day people operations and by assisting in the development and execution of new people initiatives.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is at the early stages of their career to gain exposure to all aspects of HR support across a business going through significant growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Generalist HR support, acting as the first point of contact for HR queries
• HR administration and coordination across all people activities
• Recruitment for open positions 
• Improvement of HR systems, processes and procedures
• Reporting and analysis of data
• Supporting the Talent Development Manager with L&E programmes

What you'll need to be successful

• Experience in a similar role providing generalist HR support
• Experience working within internal recruitment 
• Understanding of HR/IR frameworks in Australia (e.g. Awards, Fair Work, WHS, EEO)
• Stakeholder management skills including experience of setting and managing expectations
• Prioritisation and time management skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality
