Dowell Windows is a leading value based window manufacturing organisation. We are proudly Australian owned and operated and continue to strengthen in the residential market.

We have an excellent opportunity for a training professional to assist the business with its learning and development strategy. With 2+ years experience in a training role, you will be confident in the development and delivery of face-to-face training and have strong technical writing skills.

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will:

  • Assist with the design, development, delivery and evaluation of learning solutions including face-to-face training, eLearning and self-paced learning.
  • Deliver face-to-face training sessions across a broad range of topics.
  • Develop and update written documentation including training manuals, procedures, facilitator guides and learner guides.
  • Ensure our Learning Management System and training records are kept up to date.
  • Support the business by offering advice to meet their learning needs.
  • Travel interstate to other Dowell locations to deliver training.

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about the delivery of first class training solutions. Additionally you will have:

  • A Cert IV in Training & Assessment or a Cert IV in Training and Education.
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in a number of Learning and Development programs.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Confidence in delivering face-to-face training sessions to a wide range of people.
  • Technical writing skills with a no nonsense, plain English approach.
  • Strong organisational and administration skills.
  • An understanding of eLearning design principles (highly regarded).
  • A full drivers licence and the ability to travel interstate.
