About the Role

Monash Doctors Workforce (MDW) unit is looking for a highly organised and driven individual to lead the Operations Team. MDW is responsible for the management, implementation and coordination of a range of human resources and employment functions for our medical workforce (senior and junior medical staff).

The Operations Team Leader is responsible for providing leadership in medical workforce rostering and other employment matters.

The Team Leader can expect plenty of variation and stimulation in this role.  They are expected to provide advice, guidance and solutions to all aspects of rostering and payroll processes.

The successful applicant will possess the following key attributes:

• Current experience in leading and managing teams
• Experience in leading projects and managing tight time frames with the ability to prioritise urgent tasks
• High level of communication and organisation skills
• Advanced customer service skills and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work cohesively in a small team
• Takes responsibility for how own actions and behaviours impact on self and others. Taking steps to adjust to achieve outstanding outcomes
• Proficient use of information technology to produce reports, statistics and other information to assist in clinical / non-clinical business decisions
• Knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues including Workplace Health and Safety issues, Equal Employment Opportunities and Anti-discrimination
