Job/Responsibilities
Orange City Council have a great opportunity for a professional human resources officer or generalist to join their small but busy team in the position of Human Resources Business Partner. With an emphasis on stakeholder engagement, customer service and professional communication, you will be responsible for providing human resources services and advice across a diverse range of positions and industry areas within your organisational area of responsibility.
Using your exceptional communication and customer service skills, you will successfully and professionally advise, guide and support supervisors and staff in relation to their human resources needs.
You’ll be a forward thinker – able to be creative, implement best practice improvements, provide accurate and consistent advice (based on policy and legislation) and be able to think ahead for any issues or problems that could arise - trying to pre-empt them before they occur.
Finally, you’ll be flexible, able to work under pressure and work at a fast pace in high volume when required and do it all with a smile!
