Tinonee Gardens is a leading residential aged care facility offering compassionate care for older people in a welcoming and inclusive community. We cater for the unique needs of our community of 159 residents from culturally & linguistically diverse backgrounds.

About the role:

We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate HR Manager to join our team at Waratah. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the strategic success of Tinonee Gardens delivering operational Human Resource advice to managers across the business and providing the full range of generalist Human Resources services, end-to-end recruitment across the business and maintaining the e-learning platform for staff on-boarding and development.

 What are we looking for?

  • At least 3 years in end-to-end recruitment experience
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge and experience in enterprise agreement interpretation, on-boarding, remuneration, recruitment, contract development and driving on-going probationary review process.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and principles of natural justice
  • Knowledge of HR systems, E-learning platform and databases
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and HR best practices
  • Continuous improvement of recruitment and training processes to ensure staff compliance and knowledge obtained.
  • A thorough understanding of WHS 
  • Experience within the Aged Care or Health sector would be highly advantageous
  • Drivers licence
