Instructional Designer – Training Consultant (eLearning)
3 Month initial Contract
Daily rate range: $600.00 - $700.00 + Super depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Our customer is a major Government organisation, renowned for their innovation and collaborative working environment.
Due to the expansion of their digital solutions program, there's a need for an accomplished Instructional Designer/Training Consultant to support the ongoing training needs of the various projects in the Portfolio. It is highly desirable if you are available immediately or within 2 weeks.
The role
- Analyse, design and develop end user training materials & educational activities in accordance with the elearning project plan/timeline
- Design and develop eLearning modules
- Collaborate effectively with change managers, subject matter experts and business analysts to develop and validate course content
To be successful you must have:
- ICT experience essential.
- Ability to work with S.M.E’s to understand the technology solution, design suitable training solutions and then develop those solutions end to end.
- Strong projects experience and be comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment, where they could be working on one product today and another tomorrow etc., as per operational demands.
- Current Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE40110) or equivalent experience in eLearning or Training environments or an undergraduate degree in education or related field with two or more years of experience in a similar instructional designer role
Software required:
- Articulate 360 – eLearning software – Essential
- Camtasia – Video creator/Editor (including audio recording) – Essential
- Vyond (GoAnimate) – Creating graphics, scenes, people, videos – Essential (but not hard to use, easy to pick up)
- Adobe Creative Suite – Audition only: Essential (but not hard to use, easy to pick up)
- Vimeo – for videos testing and publishing online - Desirable
- Audition – Audio recording software – Desirable
- Viostream - for publishing videos online – Desirable
- Videoscribe – create videos by graphics etc – Desirable
- Snagit – Cutting tool – Desirable
