A unique opportunity is available for a motivated and proactive Vocational Education Professional to join our HR team based in Bayswater, Melbourne. This is a fulltime 2 year fixed term role reporting to the Learning Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
Business Development and Roll-out
- Development of Apprenticeship and Dual Study programs according to business plans and based on internal and external (customer) requirements
- Consult international clients and establish sustainable business relationships considering local framework conditions and social aspects
- Accompany international clients at implementation phase and ensure achievements of goals within the timelines
- Coordinate internal and external training provider and if necessary partner with respective Vocational School or Applied Universities
- Arrange handover in proper order by smooth transition to operation mode
Business Operation
- Responsibility for planning and operation of Apprenticeship programs according to requirements, regulations and legal provisions
- Implementation of Siemens Professional Education strategy in alignment with key stakeholders
- Ensure quality standards of work placements
- Analysis of internal and external (customer, supply chain) talent demands and
- Participating in committees and panels
- Improvement of local didactical and methods concepts
- Responsible for recruitment and apprenticeship marketing activities
The successful candidate will possess:
- An engineering background and experience in technical curriculum development aligned with core engineering units.
- Have international experience within Vocational Education Programs, ideally in the UK or Germany.
- Experience partnering with Australian Universities and/or TAFE institutes
