Nationally, HR is already well-positioned through its collaborative style and alignment to the business, with this key position reflecting the organisation’s determination to maintain a competitive edge through its people and HR practices. You will operate as a business partner providing HR solutions which have practical, positive, business related outcomes. This is a hands-on role that is generalist by nature including such things as coaching and supporting line managers to solve daily HR problems, performance management, RTW, training, recruitment and on-boarding to name but a few.
With appropriate tertiary qualifications and a sound HR generalist background, you will be adept at developing effective relationships with both an internal and external customer base, be an excellent communicator, a strong problem solver and demonstrate an effective coaching and influencing ability. A keen customer focus and goal orientation will complement your proactive, common sense approach and ‘can do’ attitude. A sense of humour is a must!
