Data Processors is a data-centric research and technology services company focusing on statistical modelling. Established in 1999, Data Processors has since expanded operations to Sydney, Hobart and Melbourne. We have over 220 employees nationally.  

Due to the departure of an existing team member, who is returning home to New Zealand we are seeking a bubbly, engaging and eager team member for our highly performing team ASAP.  The team consists of the HR Manager (based remotely in Melbourne) and your colleague in Sydney holding the same role.  

Your day to day role will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Recruitment
  • Preparation of employee on-boarding processes 
  • Attendance to performance review meetings
  • Scheduling and recording of all employee learning and development activities
  • Provision of HR advice and guidance to employees in consultation with HR Manager
  • Updating, reviewing and creating content on HR Intranet pages
  • Organisation of social events including annual Company-wide trivia night and Christmas party
  • Design and distribution of employee climate surveys 
  • Analysis of employee and other survey results
  • Employee training in HR related processes and systems
  • Administration of online employee performance management/on-boarding platform
  • Administration of employee health and well being programs (yoga, F45/Fitness Classes, Soccer, OzTag, Basketball, Massage) as required

To be successful in this high performing team and organisation you will need to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and attributes.   

  • Diploma/Degree qualification in HR + 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a technical organisation ideally within a learning and development focus
  • Ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships with own team and colleagues in other teams at all levels of the business
  • High level communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi task and manage your time effectively
  • Awareness that you are working within an experienced and knowledgeable team and the ability and willingness to share information to ensure effective and holistic approaches are taken in regards to all HR related matters
  • A calm, professional and approachable manner
  • Ability to listen, learn, retain information and take direction
  • Willingness to go the extra mile when needed
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information
