Established in 1996 in Victoria, the EPH Group has steadily grown from a family business into a national organisation comprising of over 120 employees throughout three companies across the eastern seaboard of Australia.

To help us in continuing the delivery of our successful national growth, the EPH Group is now looking for an experienced and motivated HR Consultant. 

This national role will be based at our Victorian head office, with travel to Queensland and New South Wales as required to meet the needs of the business.

Your duties will include: 

Under the guidance of the National HR Manager; 

  • Providing advice and support on general advisory enquiries;
  • Preparing letters of offer, employment agreements and induction packs; 
  • Conducting new employee inductions;
  • Assist with coaching, counselling and guiding managers on the utilization of HR systems and processes; 
  • Overseeing the recruitment and selection process for all company personnel nationally including writing and placing job ads, candidate screening and recommendations; 
  • Assist with Training and Development programs; 
  • Assisting in the creation and revision of position descriptions; 
  • Assisting with periodic performance reviews across all departments,
  • Assisting with developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures; 
  • Reviewing and developing the Company's employee handbook(s); 
  • Remuneration and benefits administration; 
  • Assisting with workforce planning; 
  • Overseeing exit and termination processes;
  • Maintaining employee and departmental records and reports.

What we are looking for: 

The successful applicant will require the following experience;

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline;
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a HR generalist role; 
  • Very good consultative skills with the ability to build great business relationships;
  • Have a demonstrated understanding of HR practices with a strong bias towards workplace relations, training & development and recruitment; 
  • Previous exposure to Industrial Relations (with some understanding of relevant awards and legislative processes); 
  • Previous experience with performance management review processes; 
  • High degree of computer literacy.
