The Member Workforce Coordinator also liaises and partners with the Director and Deputy Director, Professional Development, Deputy Presidents and Members, to ensure the coordination and delivery of the Tribunal's professional development programs for Members. Additionally, the occupant of this position provides secretariat support to the Professional Development, Capability and Leadership Steering Committee.

The Member Workforce Coordinator partners with Deputy Presidents, Members, managers and staff on a range of HR matters in relation to the Member appointment lifecycle including but not limited to appointments, induction, appraisals and appointment conditions.

Your key accountabilities will be:

  • Provides support and advice to relevant stakeholders on a range of matters in the Member appointment lifecycle and in relation to appointment conditions.
  • Administers onboarding and induction materials and activities for all new Members.
  • Supports the Director and/or Deputy Director, Professional Development in the implementation of all learning and development activities and events for Members.
  • Coordinates promotes and manages Member Professional Development activities by: organising guest speakers and facilitators; circulating invitations, confirming attendees and registrations; and in the preparation of professional development materials.
  • Liaise with the Facilities Management team to confirm catering, travel, accommodation, room bookings and other administrative arrangements, as required.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders to coordinate and organise relevant professional development opportunities for Members and confirm registration and attendees.
  • Maintain accurate records of all Member participation in professional development and learning and development programs.
  • Monitor and manage relevant budgets and assist in preparation of budgets for each new financial year.
  • Collects and collates relevant data for various reports, such as the VCAT Annual Report.
  • Evaluates work processes and outputs to develop strategies to improve efficiencies with the People Management team.
  • Provides additional support to the Director, People Management and other members of the People Management team as required.

To be successful you will have solid MS Office knowledge, strong communications skills, a background in HR or Events is preferred but not essential. You will have a strong work ethic with a professional but down to earth style, an enthusiastic team player who will work closely and collaboratively across the business with various stakeholders and be able to multitask and prioritise your day effectively.
