The Company
CD Power is one of Australia's leading energy solution companies as manufacturers of high quality, stationary engine equipment including bespoke generator, pump and compressor systems with a client base in the Oil & Gas, Agricultural, Health and Defence Industries. Established over 30 years ago, the business is currently rapidly expanding with aggressive growth and market share goals for the short, medium and long-term.
Due to this exciting growth, the opportunity has arisen for an HR Advisor to join the team on a permanent part-time basis (0.6 FTE).
Initially reporting to the Executive Assistant, the HR Advisor will be responsible for providing broad HR support to our growing business. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Recruitment of both tradespeople and professional staff
- Processing of weekly payroll
- Implementation of Human Resources Policy and Strategy
- Provision of Industrial Relations advice, including Workplace Agreements and Award Management
- Coordination of Staff Training and Development
- Ensure Compliance with relevant legislation
The Candidate
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources
- Experience in providing a range of HR services in small and medium businesses
- The ability to engage successfully with management, staff and candidates at all levels
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment would be an advantage
