Position

We are currently looking for the perfect fit for our boutique family portrait studio located in Brisbane . Action Studio has been photographing thousands of families, weddings and events over the last 14 years and now we are looking for a valuable team member to join the team.

Position is a Part time / Full time role pending on your experience.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients. Uncover their motivations and help them to build confidence through a personal photo shoot.
• Photograph clients in studio or outdoor environment
• Convert and Colour correct images for the Design Consultation with a client
• design artistic layouts
• Run clients through their photos approximately 1 week after their photo shoot. Help them to decide on a photographic package that best fits their needs and budget.
• Deliver sales results whilst maintaining a calm and friendly demeanour. 
• Follow-up with clients via email and telephone.

Who we are looking for?

• You must be a well-presented, creative and motivated individual
• You have one year experience in Studio Lighting
•  You are a natural people person.  
• As well as being able to recognise the needs of customers and deliver on this, you'll be adept at providing a high level of customer service and be a great communicator.
• You're a reliable team player who will go above and beyond for not only our clients but for your team.
• A confident, engaging and positive personality is vital.
• Proven ability in the use of Photoshop for photo re-touching 
• a highly developed ability to motivate our clients. These include babies, young children, family groups, executives and fashion inspired portraits, both in the studio and on location
• a real passion for all forms of portrait photography
• an enthusiastic attitude, an excellent phone manner and a flexible attitude towards learning and implementing the studio systems
• proven ability to use studio lighting and operate with cameras
• A good knowledge of a photography composition
• Sales experience is an advantage
