Reporting to the Head of Retail, you will be responsible for the way that products are presented to customers on our eCommerce platform. You will be tasked with creating unique, informative, and SEO-friendly product descriptions, category descriptions, and buying guides that guide our customers through the buying process.

As part of a multi-functional team, you will work with the website development and marketing teams to implement SEO best practice across different areas of the website including titles, meta-descriptions, and URL structure. Previous experience working with SEO planning tools such as SEMrush, MOZ, Google Analytics and Google Keyword Planner are desirable. As a digital copywriter, you will be well versed in creating copy that is informative, easy-to-read and SEO friendly.

What You’ll Do

• Write 100+ product descriptions per day for products, categories and brands
• Effectively detail the features and benefits of products in a creative and compelling manner that reflects the voice and tone of our brand
• Help drive SEO content marketing
• Proactively identify content strategy improvements based on performance data
• Report discrepancies and respond to feedback

What You’ll Need

• 2+ Years of writing experience- eCommerce experience is a bonus
• A good understanding of SEO
• Exceptional grammar and proofreading skills
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (preferred, not essential)
