We are looking for enthusiastic Event Staging Manager to join the Encore Event Technologies Team in Sydney. In this key role, you will be responsible for promoting Encore Event Technologies service range to the hotel venue and our clients. This position requires a person with excellent communication skills and a successful track record in building and maintaining strong customer relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of one of our prestigious venues as well as leading the onsite team and driving business development to new and existing clients.

What your new role will involve
- Relationship management with the hotel venue;
- Creating an environment that supports outstanding service and delivers successful events;
- Meet sales targets and developing the business, selling audio visual services to the hotel venue's clients;
- Deliver on the sales promise;
- Maintain financial reports; and
- Managing all aspects of Occupational Health Safety for Staging Connections within the hotel venue.
What we're looking for
- Qualification in Hospitality or Events (desirable)
- Experience in the Hospitality and Events industry
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills;
- Proven management or supervisory experience and experience in managing a venue
- Financial Management skills;
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and negotiation skill
- Ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines;
- Strong rostering and cost management experience.
