Lux Everyday, which includes great brands such as Scoopon, Cudo, Deals, TreatMe, The Gourmet & Spreets – is one of Australia's biggest and most innovative eCommerce groups and we currently have an exciting role available for a savvy Copywriter to join our team based out of Sydney.

Our new Copywriter will be on an initial 3-month full-time contract tasked with ensuring all content is correct, thoroughly researched, catchy and highlights the unique value proposition for the offer on Scoopon, Cudo & Deals.

The Copywriter will:

• Researching and preparing copy and headlines for a range of experience offers and ensuring the creative content is entertaining, catchy and informative
• Ensuring offers are subbed, fact checked and carry catchy 'commercially-driven' headlines
• Constantly looking to connect and communicate with our members, giving them all the information they could possibly need to make the purchase decision
• Analysing campaigns from a commercial perspective, thinking about how to improve sales through copy
• Liaising with the relevant departments to ensure that all facets of the copy are accurate before the deal goes live
• Ensuring that there are no legal or advertising breaches and that there is adherence to copyright laws
• Coordinating with the graphics department to ensure that the images are correct and best represent the offer
• Maintaining KPIs and ensuring that the team is at least 7 days out on deadline
• Working with the Team Leader/Manager to develop and implement technical training plans and develop creative ideas for EDMs

We are looking for someone with:

• Ability to start IMMEDIATELY, full-time on an initial 3-month contract
• Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all mock up sent out to the client are accurate and comply with both our contractual and legal responsibilities
• Speed: Ensuring that you and your fellow team members are at least 7 days out. If you are exceeding your target, what additional work are you taking on? You will also be assessed on how it takes you to turn around emails within the company
• Content: The quality of your work must be of a high standard and must show thought behind the marketing of a deal
• Processes: You must make sure you are following all processes including, but not limited to, questioning any concerns related to a deal, ensuring that you're on target, and following up feedback and changes
• Team Player: It's important to have the right attitude and willingness to think outside the box
• One year of copywriting experience is desirable. Recent graduates, casuals and contractors with relevant experience are also welcome!
