A globally leading full service agency and are on the lookout for a key senior leader to join their business. Our client is a large, global agency renowned for their strong market presence and their ability to deliver exciting and cutting edge consumer experiences to high profile clients. As the Group Account Director, you will be responsible for owning the relationship with this agency's key client. You will be supported by a large team (and will be responsible for managing and mentoring the client service team) and work alongside an extremely talented team of Strategists, Producers and Creatives to deliver a variety of (what will hopefully be) award winning work!

This role will suit a strategic, digitally-savvy, nurturing and engaging individual who is very driven to navigate this great role into uncharted areas of innovation, client satisfaction and career growth. You will be able to talk-the-talk with C-Level business leaders, but MUST be able to back that up with delivery on promises. You will need to thrive in a creative and animated work environment.

You will be digitally savvy and ideally will have worked on a broad range of integrated projects incorporating ATL elements.

You & the role:
  • 8+ years client service experience within a creative advertising agency
  • An integrated advertising background with solid experience in Digital
  • Ability to manage a massive client/account
  • Experience working with large clients and significant experience working on large integrated accounts
  • The gravitas to lead strategic business conversations with C-Level executives
  • An entrepreneurial attitude - willing to get your hands dirty in the running of projects, do whatever needs to be done - this role will not suit someone who is looking to sit in their "ivory tower'
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm to create an environment of highly motivated individuals
  • To be outgoing, results oriented, interested, engaged, passionate about advertising, professional, articulate, strategic, energetic and gregarious
  • To have exceptional communication skills - presentation, negotiation, management and leadership
  • High levels of enthusiasm to sustain an environment of highly motivated individuals
  • A strategic mindset with a passion for proactively delivering unique marketing ideas and plans
  • Recognised experience managing large client assignments within a multiple stakeholder environment, particularly within an agency setting
  • Outstanding client relationship and stakeholder management skills
