Content Coordinator / Manager

Description:

This is an exceptional opportunity for an expert content and communications professional.

Join an energetic, fast paced and rapidly expanding finance company operating throughout Asia Pacific. The role will appeal to a self-starter capable of converting ideas (yours and others) into actions and outcomes.

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the Content Coordinator/Manager is responsible for producing content for all owned and paid channels with the aim of improving brand awareness, increasing thought leadership and educating target audiences on positioning and products.

Please note, whilst the job title may be manager (for the right candidate), this is to reflect management of responsibility, there are no direct reports.

Skills:

  • Strong writing, editorial and project management skills
  • You should be a storyteller and have a passion for high quality content creation, an appreciation of content marketing, great attention to detail and the ability to develop engaging and accurate content appropriate for use across multiple channels
  • You will be able to produce content volume, varying from short burst articles and copy, to longer, more in depth analytical pieces
  • Experience across a variety of content types beyond traditional articles, such as infographics, video, and eDM, is expected. Given the reliance of social media and other digital channels on content, an understanding of social media platforms and basic digital marketing activities, or the capability of gaining this understanding, is expected

Responsibilities: 
  • Plan, develop, write and edit authentic and high-quality content for owned and paid marketing channels (B2B and B2C), including but not limited to: thought leadership articles, press releases, eDM copy, case studies, advertising copy, website copy, multimedia scripts, reports and publications
  • Build and manage a content/editorial calendar
  • Liaise with external partners and contacts (including media) in regards to any content requirements Collaborate with marketing, credit, sales, legal and other internal influencers to meet the content needs of key stakeholders and the corporate strategy
  • Go on the road with the sales team (as required) to meet and acquire content from brokers for education content pieces.
  • Communicate internally to improve business to understanding of marketing pillars
  • Assist with the digital promotion and distribution of content to target audiences, including but not limited to social, eDM and web. 
Requirements: 
  • 2 - 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in writing content for blogs, social media, email, digital flyers, press releases and other marketing collateral
  • A background in journalism, media, writing or production, with exposure to a variety of channels
  • Strong attention to detail (this a regulated financial services environment), multi-tasking, time management, task prioritisation, and organisation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal/human relations skills
  • Digitally savvy, with the ability to pick up processes, emerging platforms, and directly assist with digital marketing activities
  • Experience in the mortgage and lending industry would be the cherry on top!
