We have an opportunity for an experienced client-facing Project Co-ordinator to work onsite with one of our clients in Sydney CBD. We are looking for a team player who has exceptional planning and communication skills, an understanding of design and excellent attention to detail. The environment is fast paced, so you will need to be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines for our client. 

Please note this is a project management role, not a design role.

Some of the key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage incoming enquiries and be the first point of contact for our clients
  • Take briefs and create reverse briefs with the clients
  • Negotiate client deadlines and track progress of jobs
  • Accurately estimate the jobs and keep clients updated with any changes in costs
  • Monitor and manage the traffic of jobs between our onshore and offshore design teams using the workflow system
  • Provide phone and desk support for technical queries from clients, engaging the designers as appropriate
  • Interact with the offshore team regarding workflow
  • Quality check work coming back from the offshore team, and give feedback accordingly 
  • Liaise directly with line manager on a regular basis to give updates on workflow, deadlines, and issues so that the client's requirements can be effectively managed
  • Adhere to global Best Practice guidelines and client branding
  • Be a real team player, and be adaptable and flexible with work hours to accommodate overtime if required to meet client commitments (please note, overtime is paid)
  • Monitor and forecast peak demand periods, and suggest resourcing to meet this
  • Attendance to meetings, WIP and ad hoc reporting, and administrative tasks as required

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will possess:

  • At least 1 to 2 years in a similar role (client facing, project management, ideally corporate design environment)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Advance Microsoft Office Suite skills 
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment
  • Experience working with remote resources would be ideal
  • Interest in design and creative services
