In 2018, Merkle, leading global performance marketing agency was launched in Australia and in partnership with Columbus has provided immediate scale and capability in market. 

Reporting to the National Managing Director, we are looking for a General Manager - Victoria and Western Australia, to oversee all client service delivery, concurrently provide and drive new business opportunities within existing and new clients and optimise Columbus's product offering in market. Other key requirements are:
 
Responsibilities:

• Delivery of the VIC & WA financial budget and goals, with a strong people focus and the management of over 50 staff across both markets - building a collaborative and high performance culture is imperative
• Collaborating with the Columbus National MD to set the strategic purpose for VIC & WA markets in line with the overall national vision and purpose
• Driving the Dentsu Aegis Network Operating Model and delivery of the Columbus product strategy to clients and the broader team
• Provide a strong strategic focus for all key clients from vision, inception and execution
• Supply strong commercial acumen with full P&L responsibility and reporting capability
• Lead new business pitches and growth opportunities
• Establish and maintain beneficial partner relationships with external publishers and technology providers

Ideal Background:
As an integral member of the Columbus Executive Leadership team you will possess outstanding General Management capabilities and sound vertical expertise. Knowledge and understanding of the Australian digital media marketplace, trends, systems and processes is important. Technical aptitude with Paid Search, SEO, Analytics, CRO and Content Marketing will be well regarded.
