The Broken Hill City Council was recently successful in receiving project funding for ‘Australia’s First Heritage Listed City Goes Digital’. This is a major 2 year digitisation project relating to Council’s key Gallery and Museum. The money from this funding will pay for the two fulltime staff required to complete the digitisation, as well as the equipment, software, training and resources required.

We have an exciting career opportunity working within our Corporate and Cultural Services unit as a Collection Project Assistant. Reporting directly to the Collection Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the entire digitisation project of both the Gallery and Museum collections.

We are seeking a highly motivated employee that has well developed customer relations and administration skills. The successful candidate will have proven communication skills, relevant work experience, whom are quick to learn new systems and processes and can work well and flexibly in a small team.
