Role Snapshot/Role Summary
The Senior Producer role in our team at Sky is the most senior direct production person in the control room, this position will oversee live racing & program coverage to ensure consistency of presentation as outlined in the Sky style guide for both racing and programs. This role is the perfect opportunity to work closely with graphics, producers, presenters and studio crews to ensure an effective, efficient, accurate and entertaining on-air production.
How you will contribute
More specifically you will:
• Oversee production & broadcast of Sky Racing programs (including any pre/post production) to ensure programming is in line with Sky style guide.
• Oversee racing coverage to ensure consistently high quality coverage and a low error rate on screen.
• Pre/post production required for race day preview programs and live racing
• Oversee and prepare accurate rundowns for the studio
• Line produce racing & programs as rostered.
Our Ideal Person
As the ideal person for this role you will have a well rounded background of Television, particularly in the production of Racing programs. You will be a natural leader who is able to demonstrate and mentor AP’s and Producers in your team to create compelling content. Whilst a Racing of Wagering background is critical to your success in this role a background in Journalism in a fast paced broadcast environment will be highly regarded, a background in LIVE broadcast TV is essential.
