Your Money is an exciting new media business formed by a groundbreaking partnership between Nine and Australian News Channel (Sky News). The 24-hour channel will broadcast and stream business news, real estate, luxury lifestyle and personal finance on a Nine free-to-air channel, Foxtel and multiple digital services.
The successful Television Reporter will be a storyteller with the ability to produce informative, engaging and dynamic content for an aspirational audience, with a focus on personal finance, wealth and related lifestyle.
The Role:
- Pitch original and well-thought out story/segment ideas
- Write concise, accurate and interesting scripts
- Perform detailed research
- Source and book talent
- Coordinate with a number of stakeholders including segment producers, camera operators & production control room
- May be required to source vision and create graphic elements
To be Successful in this role:
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous television reporting experience and at least five years in a television news environment
- Proven ability to tell a story visually and paint a picture using words
- Ability to write and speak in a concise and accurate manner while under pressure
- Understanding of multimedia tools
- Ability to source and secure high-level talent
- Build networks and draw upon existing contacts
- Work well under pressure and to deadlines with the ability to think on one's feet
- Degree level education and relevant showreel
